A CHRISTMAS CAROL – THE MUSICAL

In the course of one magical night, Scrooge learns to recognize his faults and gains the chance to make amends. A prosperous businessman, he believes that personal wealth and heartless financial tactics are much more valuable than the friendship, happiness, and comfort of those around him. He treats his employee, Bob Cratchit, and his family with the same disdain and coldness that he shows everyone else.

Keith Ferguson & Bruce Greer have created a new musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ 1843 Novella that is faithful to Dickens’ plot and prose, while highlighting both the spiritual and social themes woven throughout this Christmas classic.

The score has many original songs written in a traditional musical theatre style, while also carefully integrating familiar carols and songs of Christmas that audiences will recognize and respond to with joy.
