Our TeamMeet the people behind Theatre in the Country
Our Passion for Theatre
Every face you see on this page has a passion for theatre. They give valuable time and energy to Theatre in the Country working tirelessly to make our shows come to life. These people are the heroes of Theatre in the Country and we could no do what we do without their continued support and friendship.
With each show our community grows. If you are interested in getting involved then please let us know.
The next time you visit our theatre and see one of these faces walking the hallway, let them know how much their work means to them.
Reg started Theatre in the Country after being encouraged to do so by students and parents invovled with his drama class at Maple Ridge Christian School. He has been teaching there with 2001 and is thrilled that many people from that fine community have joined with him here at TIC to continue making the magic.
Reg is an theatrical jack of all trades. While acting is his first love, he has expanding into all roles: producer, director, writer, designer and teacher. He holds an MA in Theatre, and loves attending theatre in Vancouver and around the world with his Erin who is his partner in magic at TIC. Erin, a video editor and documentary film maker, oversees all the promotional and interactive shows videos that make TIC’s productions jump off the stage.
Hillary first fell in love with theatre at Maple Ridge Christian School, and then want on to complete the stage craft program at Douglas College. She has toured with Good Soil Theatre, and was stage manager for the long running Vancouver production of Tony and Tina’s wedding.
Hillary takes cares of so many details at TIC that we have lost count. From running the box office to overseeing actors and our front out house team she keeps the place running smoothly, and doing all the things that make us look so good.
Graham oversees all the technical functions at TIC: lights, video, sound, special effects and the occassional explosion are all in his domain. A self-proclaimed geek who loves flying radio controlled helicopters, he keeps TIC boyant and cheerful with his great attitude and huge heart.
When Graham is not at TIC he is a teacher and highly skilled IT guy. His wife Jessica is the Concession Manager here at TIC and the two of them enjoy being a part of our thespian community. They have both appeared on stage as well as behind the scenes.
